The region

La Amistad International Park

The La Amistad International Park is a "Sitio de Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad" and a fantastic biosphere reserve. It is also a great human adventure, showing the cooperation of Costa Rica and Panama to preserve the nature. 200.000 hectares of primary forests hosts wild animals like Jaguar, Puma or Tapir. Bird watching is also exceptional.

Asoprola

Asoprola is the "association de producers de la amistad", we are sharing resources to develop sustainable farming in the region. The association is also providing nice hosting to visitors in the region in wooden cabins.
